Tim Rickwood

Tim is a proud Bendigo local teacher who lives in Spring Gully with his wife and young daughter.

As a teacher, Tim knows how important fairness and opportunity are - especially for those doing it tough.

He's running as a Labor candidate because Labor's values are deeply connected to his own life. Growing up in a single-parent household, where money was tight, Tim saw firsthand the difference that access to education and a government that believes in opportunity can make.

Labor has delivered an upgrade to every school in Bendigo East, a better Bendigo TAFE and new train stations at Goornong, Huntly and Raywood.

But Tim knows there’s more to do.

His mission in life has been shaping the next generation of Bendigo kids around local values and hard work - and that drives him every day.

Tim has watched Bendigo grow into a place where the next generation can build a whole life without leaving home, and he's not willing to see that undone.
