Stefan Koomen

Stefan Koomen is a local who stands up for our community.

Stefan led the charge to save the Doveton Pool. As our Mayor he helped stop the proposed waste transfer station in Hampton Park.

Stefan completed a Commerce degree majoring in accounting and economics, and has worked as a truck driver, business manager and government advisor.

Stefan understands that every taxpayer dollar should be spent wisely and considerately.

As Mayor of Casey Council, Stefan has helped restore integrity and get the budget back on track.

A local dad with two young daughters, Stefan and his wife Cat balance work and family every day.

Helping with cost-of-living pressures, building more affordable housing, and boosting community safety are immediate priorities, alongside investments in health and local schools.
