Labor has built 121 new schools, delivered more than 2,400 school upgrades and made Victorian teachers the highest paid in Australia.

Every child deserves a great education – that’s why Labor is building new schools and backing the teachers who help our kids succeed.

Parents want their kids to learn, make friends and have every chance to do well. A good local school and a great teacher can make all the difference.

More than 1,250 public schools have benefited from upgrades already, improving the places where our kids learn every day.

We’re also building new schools where new families will need them, in suburbs and towns right across the state.

It’s part of the reason that Victorian students are leading the nation in NAPLAN. Our students, teachers and families deserve to be proud of their hard work.

Our teachers help kids learn, build confidence and find what they’re good at – and Labor has made them the highest paid in Australia, because their work matters.

We’ll always protect our schools from Liberal and One Nation cuts and keep investing in the teachers and classrooms our children need.

Labor believes every child should have the chance to do well, wherever they grow up. We’ll keep investing in their schools and the teachers who help them get there.
