Labor Will Double Carparks At West Tarneit Station
A re-elected Carroll Labor Government will invest $25 million to deliver new car parking and improved access on the north side of West Tarneit Station.
Labor delivered the new West Tarneit station which opened this year.
But its existing carpark is already at capacity.
That’s why Labor will get on and deliver a new carpark with 400 spaces.
This will bring total carparks at West Tarneit station to 800 spaces.
This means commuters will find it easier to get to and from the station.
Labor knows local communities deserve safe, reliable public transport.
Labor is delivering turn up and go services in the west – including to West Tarneit station.
Only Labor is backing better public transport for locals.
The alternative is a Liberal-One Nation Coalition making $40 billion in cuts.
