Delivering an Upgraded Pavilion for Laurimar Reserve

23 October 2026

A re-elected Carroll Labor Government will invest $6 million to help upgrade the pavilion at Laurimar Reserve, Doreen.

The current facility was built at a time when sport was largely designed around men’s participation – that’s why the upgrade will deliver modern change rooms that everyone can use.

Labor will back the local council and deliver up to $6 million towards the upgrade.

Laurimar Reserve is home to the Laurimar Community Sports Club.

Labor knows our local clubs provide a place where members, supporters and volunteers come together.

That’s why Labor is backing upgrades that will help people of all ages and abilities get involved in community sport.

Labor backs community sport.

A Liberal-One Nation Coalition Government would cut it.
