Delivering a Better Jubilee Park for Ringwood

A re-elected Carroll Labor Government will invest $200,000 to support upgrades at Jubilee Park, Ringwood.

Currently, there isn’t enough seating, and there is no behind-the-goals protection – which means time spent hunting for footies in the carpark or parklands.

That’s why Labor will back the local council to deliver $100,000 for new spectator seating as well as $100,000 for new ball catch nets behind the goals.

Jubilee Park is home to Ringwood Cricket Club, Ringwood Football and Netball Club, and the Ringwood Spiders All-Abilities Football and Netball Club – and this upgrade will back them in.

More than that, Jubilee Park, in the heart of Ringwood, brings together clubs and the community, hosting events all year round.

Labor knows our local clubs are more than just about the game – they’re about community. And as our local clubs grow, they provide a place where members, supporters and volunteers come together.

That’s why Labor is backing upgrades that will help everyone of all ages and abilities get involved in community sport.

Only a re-elected Labor Government will ensure that community sports clubs have the facilities they need. While under a Liberal-One Nation coalition, community sport will suffer as part of their $40 billion in cuts.
