Local Commitment

Delivering a Better HE Parker Reserve

07 October 2026

A re-elected Carroll Labor Government will invest $150,000 to upgrade HE Parker Reserve in Heathmont.

Currently, there are no nets behind the goals, making it unsafe for spectators.

Balls end up in the parklands and the carpark.

That’s why Labor will back the local council and deliver up to $100,000 for ball-catch nets behind the goals, as well as $50,000 for a new scoreboard.

Labor knows our local clubs provide a place where members, supporters and volunteers come together.

That’s why Labor is backing upgrades that will help people of all ages and abilities get involved in community sport.

Labor backs community sport.

A Liberal-One Nation Coalition Government would cut it.
