Delivering a Better Alphington Bowls Club
A re-elected Carroll Labor Government will invest $1.85 million to redevelop the pavilion at the Alphington Bowls Club.
The pavilion hasn’t been upgraded in more than 50 years – it’s outdated, isn’t accessible and lacks female-friendly amenities.
That’s why Labor will back the local council and deliver $1.85 million for a modern pavilion with new bathrooms, amenity improvements and better spaces for all.
The Alphington Bowls Club is a great community club. With a proud history, the club holds bowls competitions, barefoot bowls, school programs and community events.
Labor knows our local clubs provide a place where members, supporters and volunteers come together.
That’s why Labor is backing upgrades that will help everyone of all ages and abilities get involved in community sport.
Labor backs community sport. A Liberal-One Nation Coalition Government will cut it.
