A New Youth Hub for Whittlesea

01 October 2026

A re-elected Carroll Labor Government will invest $2.2 million to deliver a dedicated Youth Hub for the City of Whittlesea.

Youth Hubs provide important services and a place for young people to come together – and Whittlesea needs one.

That’s why Labor will work with council to deliver a Youth Hub to run programs - including those that prevent youth crime.

We will work with council on the best location, but it won't be a shopping centre location, which a feasibility study recommended against.

This hub will give young people early support and a place to connect – reducing isolation and anti-social behaviour and opening career pathways.

Labor knows that when young people have a place to get the support they need, they can achieve their goals.

Labor backs young people in Whittlesea.

A Liberal-One Nation Coalition Government, with $40 billion in cuts, won’t.
